The Usui Method of Natural Healing

An extremely pleasant holistic therapy, Reiki is an ancient art of natural healing rediscovered in Japan over one hundred years ago by Dr. Mikao Usui.

It has no connection with any religion.

It compliments-but does not substitute orthodox medical treatment.

What is Reiki?

Rei - In Japanese means "Universal All Around"

Ki - Means "Life Force Energy"

Together meaning the "Universal Life Force Energy". The entire world and we are pure energy.

How Reiki Works

When working with Reiki we are working with the universal energies all around us, energy given to us by Mother Earth and the Cosmos. It is a natural and simple healing method which helps us to balance our seven major energy centres (chakras) and allows us to open up to the the healing vibrations of this life force energy. The natural healing energy flows in a powerful and concentrated form through the hands of the Reiki giver. The laying on of the hands directs the healing energy into the body of the receiver. The Reiki giver is purely a channel to conduct this energy and therefore no personal energy is drawn or drained from the giver in fact they are also charged and strengthened at the same time. If you seek healing and are open and willing to allow this healing energy to flow through you then you too can become a channel for the energy of Reiki. Once attuned it remains with you for life.

How Reiki Can Help

It can help healing of all kind working on body, mind and spirit bringing the three into balance with each other. It affects each person differently but will always be directed where the energy is needed the most, (which may not always be in the way we believe we need it). It can also help you to achieve clarity of mind helping you to face up to making decisions and changes you may have to make in your life.

On a more personal note I underwent amazing changes in my life after undertaking my Reiki Level 1 and more so after Level 2. After practising Reiki for a while I decided to take the step to become a Reiki Master/Teacher so that I can be a small part of helping others who wish to open up to their spirituality, accept their healing abilities and spread the word of healing, truth, love and light to those people they touch in their lives.

Reiki compliments but does not substitute orthodox medical treatment.

Reiki is not a replacement for conventional medicine and you should continue any prescribed medication as normal.

I work in the Poole, Dorset Area doing both the healing sessions and the teaching (the teaching normally being 1 to 1 or a small group), if you are interested in either please do not hesitate to contact us. We are also quite happy to answer any questions you may have in regards to Reki.

REIKI TEACHING

Reiki 1

This is the first stage of becoming a Reiki Healer, the main focus of this Level is Self Healing, Once attuned you can start to heal yourself and practice on willing family members and friends. It will help you to find your spiritual or healing path and may even give you an insight to your life's purpose.

Once you have received your attunement, you will also receive a Certificate and a Reiki 1 manual for future reference.

Reiki 2 Practitioner

Once you have taken your Reiki 1 and have spent a reasonable amount of time self healing and practicing on willing family members and friends you may decide to take your next level and become a practitioner.

At this level you will be given 3 symbols to be used in your own healing sessions with clients, you will receive your attunements together with a Certificate and Manual and be told how you can send absent healing.

Reiki 3 Master Practitioner/Teacher

This is for practitioners who decide they wish to become Master Practitioner.

You will be given a further powerful symbol which will bring the healing to a greater potential. You will receive the attunements together with your Certificate and Manual of Master Reiki Practitioner.

Only for the dedicated Practitioner who wishes to teach and pass on Usui teaching to their own students.
